making old pegs into new

so as i am sure you can see, i taken an old harley foot peg, stripped the rubber off, put it in a lathe to get it to the right size to run a 1/2 die down it, i will cut these to size once i get a couple 1/2 unc nuts.

Then i drilled and tapped these bmx pegs and screwed them together, once i get the nuts i won't need these threaded. I might shorten them one section once i have seen them on my bike.

Now i have made the threaded hinges from the old pegs i can fit any bmx pegs i want and there's plenty of different one's out there.

sportster update

ok so the exhaust is now finished with its stainless turn out tip, sound great, i ve changed the air cleaner for a teardrop one, and start to modify a small 4" air cleaner from a chevy to fit but unfortunately its made out of chrome cheese and the base dis-intergrated.....

i still want somethig smaller so i will see if i can make a new base a some point.
