took a punt and won, and its still a v twin, I plan to put it on the road, so need to change the front wheel for one with a brake carrier, fit a number plate, register and get a mot.

hey gringo...

been after a new helmet for a while, so I took the plunge and ordered a gringo from sumo at vintagechop and it came the next today, great service. I am usually a 58cm helmet size so I ordered a large even though biltwell say that size is extra large, as I figured it would loosen up over time, anyway its not to tight and was great to ride in.

well I think it looks better, still have to decide on the left hand side and I may redo the right as the scales are fucked up, its not easy to do with card board and a spray can.

I've never painted a helmet and i had this old one lying around so i thought i'd try and make something out of it, below is the progress so far.

today was a good day after the funeral yesterday, a good friend helped me get some pipes made up for my bike so i could get on the road again.
i am very happy with the way they turned out, they are stainless  and need a good scotchbrite but other than that finished.
